Consistory - The twelve member governing body that meets every third Tuesday of each month. Decisions on the church property and financial business are among the topics discussed by this committee.
Budget Committee - plans the church budget for the following year.
Church Growth Committee - plans various (social) events within the church. Events include hoedowns and over-60 dinner.
Senior Choir - sings every Sunday (except June - August). Practices every Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. Open to everyone who has been confirmed.
Friendly Circle - women's group which meets monthly on Tuesday evenings. Responsible for most of the cookin' within the church, as well as donating to various causes.
Children's Choir - sings one Sunday every month (except during the Summer). Practices every Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
Spiritual Council - consists of all current and past consistory elders. Helps address the needs of the church and the pastor. This committee meets quarterly or whenever deemed necessary on Thursday evenings.
Stewardship/Mission Committee - promotes programs and offerings to increase awareness of the opportunities of giving.
Sunday School - thriving church school which is held every Sunday throughout the year (9:15am, except in the summer, 10:15am). Adults have the option of a discussion class (usually a Bible study format) or a more traditional class with songs and a lesson. Children's classes are available from birth through high school.
Youth Fellowship - young children's group, ages 4-12.
Young Adults - older children's group, ages 12-?.
Education Committee - monitors the Confirmation Class, Children's Church, and Nursery. Reports to the Consistory.
Music Committee - plans the music that is performed during the worship services.
AGAPE Committee
Children's Church - children are invited to attend Children's Church during the sermon of the worship service. Activities include puppet shows, lessons, and crafts.
Personnel Committee - sets guidelines for employees, and is involved in the hiring of employees.
Bible School - week-long children's event usually held the third week in June, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 12:00pm.
Activities and Committees
Lawn Committee - they cut the grass (all of it!). Usually one or two volunteers pick a month in which to keep the grass at bay.
The Quilters - they quilt! Meet every Tuesday at 9:00am.
Exercise Class - meet every Monday and Thursday at 6:30pm.
